Help David get through open heart surgery
Donation protected
My name is Tanya, and I am creating this page for my dear friend, David, who needs two open-heart surgeries.
Before getting into the details on how your donations will be used, I want to share with you a little about who David is.
To those of you don't know David, he is one of the kindest and most compassionate people you will ever meet. He would do anything for anyone in need.
David's been thrown some serious curve balls in life, the biggest being the loss of his only child in an automobile wreck in 2012. He was able to pull himself from the grips of tragedy and isolation and focus on helping others. David worked tirelessly to find his new purpose in life, and went to college to become an addiction counselor (LCDC). He now spends his time dedicated to helping others through their darkest days. Although this is David's passion and purpose, he's also an avid cyclist and Jeep enthusiast.
David is also a Congenital Heat Defect warrior who survived open heart surgery at the tender age of four years. Unfortunately, in a recent checkup, David learned his original repair has failed, and he needs two open heart surgeries, back to back. As you can imagine, David has a high deductible and co-pays that must be met to proceed with the surgeries. I’m asking my friends and colleagues to consider donating anything possible & please share this page.
Our goal is to raise at least $15,000. With your assistance and prayers, we will meet our goal, which will help relieve some of the financial burden. Included in our goal are insurance deductibles, medications, hospital stay for minimum of a week, 2 separate open-heart surgeries and living expenses while he is out of work without income for the 2-3 months he will need to recover. Without some serious support, he won't be able to make it through this financial hardship. Thank you for doing what you can.
