Help David Get Mobile Again

Last week my WONDERFUL friend David was graciously house sitting my cat and house while my family was on vacation. In the middle of the night, his beloved truck was horrendously stolen from it's parking place . The thiefs took not just his truck, but all of his tools and many of his possessions and the one constant that has been with him throughout the past years - through different states, different jobs (all jobs that help serve and better the community). He currently was using the tools and the truck to support himself.  So he has ALSO lost his livelihood.

He recently moved out to California to get a fresh start. He is currently studying to take his firefighting exams (we all know we need for firefighters in California!) .After the past year and half being an EMT in New Jersey in a pandemic he decided he needed a change. He had paired everything down to just what he could fit in his truck...a truck he has had for years and lovingly repaired to be just the truck that he needed. He even built custom cabinets for it!

As he is just getting started out here in California, he does not have the current funds to replace what he has lost. The car insurance will help pay for the car replacement, but not what the car was actually worth to replace nor anything that was inside it. And to top it all off he recently took out a $7000 loan to replace the catalytic converter and rebuild the transmission. He still owes $650 on that loan. The insurance $ will not even put a dent in that, nor will the bluebook value of the 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty truck be anything close to what it will cost
to have an equivalent replacement.  The losses he sustained were over $50,000 at least.

I am asking for help for this kind and gentle soul to replace what was so unexpectedly stolen from him and to help him get set up here in California. The funds will all go directly to David and help him replace his STOLEN truck and his EMT and firefighter and carpentry tools and all the other possessions that were taken.  These are to help him get back to work as a carpenter as soon as possible to be able to continue to support himself and to help him on his journey as he becomes a firefighter in California.

Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions. Any little bit can help. Let's show this helpful soul that there are people out there who have his back too! Please donate, share the link on facebook, instagram or any other place and tell your friends and family.  Thank you so much.
