Help David Game Again with an Adaptive Controller!
Donation protected
You might be familiar with David, who comes to our campus rehabilitation clinic on Thursdays. He sustained a right CVA back in 2023, and as a result, he has very limited use of his left side. Upon speaking with him we found out that he currently has no hobbies besides watching television but once enjoyed playing video games. He spends his days in a hospital bed and we know he could be doing so much more than this! When we mentioned to David that he could still play video games with an adaptive controller, he said that cost was an issue and this factor was preventing him from purchasing one.
We found out that he has an XBOX 1, and after doing some research, we learned that the XBOX adaptive controller and Logitec adaptive gaming kit would cost a total of $212. We are looking to raise this money to help David to be able to once again participate in an occupation that is meaningful for him. Please consider donating so that we can make this possible! To be able to gift this to him by the last day of clinic, December 5th, we would need to raise the money by the end of November. If we raise more than what is needed for the adaptive controller, we would use the rest of the money to purchase games or provide a gift card for him and his wife to have an evening out.
Thank you so much for considering to make a contribution! Anything you can give would be a huge help! We know that this will mean so much to David and his wife!
