David is a strong, loving, devoted father and husband. At the beginning of their beautiful story Ashley and David fell in love, married and wanted nothing more than a baby to share all the love they knew they could give. They struggled for years trying to have a baby, health complications and concerns relentlessly held them back, although disappointment seemed to have no end, their love for one another conquered all. May 2020 David and Ashley welcomed little Parker into the world. Being the miracle he is David and Ashley were overwhelmed with hearts full of love. The last four years our family has witnessed a father steadfast in his dedication and love for his son. Unfortunately, though their love still prevails, a speed bump, nevertheless has planted itself at the center of their lives. In 2023 David was diagnosed with stage 4 rectal/colon cancer and has since metastasized to his liver and lungs. Mounting medical bills and extensive chemotherapy has thrown their family into a real nightmare. Witnessing David and Ashley’s strength through this has been truly inspiring. As I write this, though I do care deeply for both of them, all that is on my mind is Parker. He has been so completely blessed with a father that loves him deeply, with your help not only will you be saving David’s life but also providing more time for him to be a father that all of us I’m certain will admire.
