My name is David, I am six years old. I was born a healthy baby boy, but I never started to speak. For years, my mom searched for answers. Doctors told her everything was fine, but deep inside she knew something was wrong.

At age four, I was finally diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Since then, my mom has been doing everything possible to help me communicate and understand the world around me. But in our small town of Esterhazy, there are no specialists who can give me the therapy I need.

After endless searching, my mom found a clinic in Tbilisi, Georgia, that offers a stem cell treatment. Doctors there reviewed my medical history and agreed to accept me for the procedure soon. This treatment could help my brain respond better, give me the chance to understand speech, communicate with my peers, and maybe even make friends for the first time.

But there is one big challenge — the cost. The procedure is $15,000 USD, an amount far beyond what my family can afford.
