Help David Find a Safe and Stable Home
David DeJesus is a 72 year old, kind, gentle, and neurodivergent man who has always faced life’s challenges with quiet strength. Recently, David was forced to leave his long-term shared rental in Florida, leaving him without stable housing. Since then, he has been moving between the couches of family and friends in the Boston area, never knowing where he will stay next.
David lives solely on a very limited Social Security Disability income, food benefits, and Medicaid. These essential supports—already stretched thin—are now in jeopardy due to federal policy changes. Without help, David risks losing what little security he has left.
Despite these hardships, David is fully capable of living independently with weekly support from family. What he needs most is a safe and stable place to call his own.
Your donation will directly help David secure housing—whether through rental assistance or a modest real estate purchase that would finally give him long-term stability. Every dollar will go toward providing David with the basic dignity and security of a home.
David has always been a caring, thoughtful soul who deserves the same compassion he gives to others. Together, we can make sure he is not left behind.
Thank you for reading and for supporting David during this critical moment in his life.
