HELP DAVID FIGHT CANCER #HUTSELLSTRONG

My name is Kathy Franz and I am setting up this fundraiser for my friend and fellow PGA Member David Hutsell.  David was recently diagnosed  with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).  

After David attended a routine annual physical his physician called to report that multiple blood test
results were out of healthy range. 48 hours later David was admitted to University of Maryland Cancer
Center for at least a month under a preliminary diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) subtype
acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL)- a cancer of the white blood cells. Before the end of his first day,
David received his first course of cancer treatments. These are COVID times and absolutely no visitors are
allowed so he FaceTime’s his wife-Patty, and daughter- Maddy for about 3 minutes at a time before he runs out of the precious energy that he must conserve to for the fight of his life. 

This is the beginning of David’s cancer story. He is expected to continue medical care at home after he returns from the hospital with visits from a home nurse to help manage his care. He may receive medications that help him achieve remission and maintain it but can cost $10-30,000 a month for a single medication.  He is expected to be on several medications. David's family is blessed with insurance but even the best health insurance does cover lost wages and there are limits to what insurance will cover.

We are confident that David will beat this cancer and return to the game he truly loves the most.....GOLF!!

Please help David, his wife Patty and daughter Maddy with this financial burden so they can focus on getting him healthy.
