Help David get a trackchair!
Donation protected
My name is Nikki, you may know me as Env54. I'm trying help a friend find independence from being in a wheelchair! His names David and he's been close to my family for a long time. He's a paraplegic from a hunting accident and uses a manual wheelchair for mobility. I hope to change that!
I'm asking you to help me get a Trackchair. If you've never seen it, its the most badass power chair made. A tank with a seat that can go through anything! Mud, snow, water, steep hills and any rough terrain. He isn't aware I'm doing this so it's going to be a big surprise and with any luck come spring he can be hiking the hills he did as a kid!
Thanks for sticking with me so far! Little about David. He's from New Hampshire -where I'm from. He's been working with NH's indepent living group to help newly injured people with spinal cord injuries recover with the hopes they become independent and get them out of the house. We're talking from visiting injured in the hospital to organizing functions to get folks together in the community. I've seen these events he puts on and it makes me smile knowing he's changing peoples lives for the better. Hopefully we can do the same for him
I've been following his goal to get in a track chair for years now and one has popped up for sale for a great price at the dealership of these powerchairs. Chappell Tractor if you want to check it out. He's applied for two state grants successfully but the state will need to see he can come up with the remainder before they write a check. That's where we come in!
I ask you, please give a little to help. All is appreciated with love. Thank you for your time and help!
