Help David enjoy the time he has left

Hi, my name is Jacqui and my dear friend David is struggling a bit. He is 49 years old and has been sick since August of 2017. Even when he was hospitalized and in a coma, his wife Kim, never left his side and never lost faith in his determination to live. It took over 3 years to get on SSDI. He is the only person alive with the medical issues he has encountered and lives with daily. He uses a insulin pump with continuous glucose monitor GR6. This is an average of 150- 200 units of insulin a day. He undergoes surgery every 6 weeks to keep valves open to the pancreas.

David has an amazing wife, Kim, and 3 incredible kids. He also has 4 wonderful grandkids. All he wants from this life is to be able to spend quality time with his family. He now lives in a trailer in a campground in Webster as that is what he can afford. Last winter was horrible for them as they did not have water and can not qualify for housing. His son, Corey, is in the military and is stationed on Florida. It would be wonderful for him be able to take a trip to see his son and spend some time with him. The whole point of this page is to help bring in a little extra money to make things a little easier for David and his family, and also be be able to cover his final arrangements so this is not a burden on Kim and the family. David wants his family to be able to go on on life and to smile thinking of the good times and know he loved them with his whole heart. The good times need to be thought of and not all the bad that has happened to him. I def see a party being thrown to make amazing memories for all involved.
