Help David Drury Attend Brevard Music Center This Summer

Hi! My name is David Drury and I am a senior at F.J. Reitz High School in Evansville, IN. I received some exciting news this past week. I have been accepted to the Orchestral Studies program at the Brevard Music Center 2025 Summer Institute and Festival. This is an amazing opportunity for me! There will be several renowned clarinet instructors there, and I will get to take weekly private lessons with them. I will take part in masterclasses, play in the orchestra, play solos and chamber ensembles. I will get to play in an orchestra under the direction of Keith Lockhart who is the conductor of the Boston Pops Orchestra. I am particularly excited because one of the guest artist this year is the clarinetist Anthony McGill. He will be performing a piece I have been working on for over a year, the Mozart Clarinet Concerto in A Major. I have gotten a merit scholarship from Brevard, but this does not cover my full tuition. I have created this Go Fund Me to help me raise the funds to pay for the rest of my tuition. I know many of you have watched me grow up and develop as a musician. You have taught me as a musician and helped me become the person I am today. I humbly ask for your help with this opportunity. Thank you so much!
