David is a youth with Cerebral Malaria. Cerebral Malaria is caused by parasite-infected red blood cells blocking brain capillaries, causing seizures, leading to brain swelling, and can lead to long-term cognitive or motor impairment.

As his mother shared, despite his condition, he is a social person who loves people and loves singing and drumming. Recently, David fell from their balcony, which made is situation grow worse.

David started therapy and has been trying to go to school even in his condition.

He needs a wheelchair, more funding for physiotherapy, and surgery.
