The Great Loop is a legendary route, and breaking the Solo Record requires not just determination, but also resources. David will need to travel fast, which means using more gas than usual. The current record, set by Robert Youens in 2025, stands at 19 days, 13 hours, and 1 minute. David believes he and Bandit can complete the loop in just 14 days this July, but the rising cost of marine gas makes the challenge even greater.
