Help David Bermudez & his family through this difficult time

We are reaching out during an incredibly challenging time for David Bermudez and his family. David is a loving father, devoted husband, and a constant support to his mother. He’s known for his passion for the outdoors and his unwavering commitment to his family. As the sole provider for his wife, Eddna, and their two children, Arturo (11) and Barbara (18), David works tirelessly as a flooring installer to ensure they have everything they need.

After long days of physically demanding work, David always finds the energy to play with Arturo and spend quality time with Barbara and Eddna. He never complains about the hard work because of his love for his family.

On Friday, September 27, 2024, around 9:30 pm, tragedy struck. While riding his scooter near his home, David was involved in a horrific accident with a car. We still don’t know all the details, but what we do know is that David was found by neighbors, lying in a pool of blood, having suffered a severe head injury. The car involved fled the scene.

Thanks to the quick response of the ambulance, David was rushed to UC San Diego Health in Hillcrest, where they saved his life. While he is currently stable, he remains unconscious in the intensive care unit.
