Help David Bergen Fight Cancer
Donation protected
David Bergen is 29 years old and already facing his second battle with kidney cancer. After surviving kidney cancer once, David hoped the worst was behind him—especially with the arrival of his new baby, Valerie. But now, his cancer is back, and he’s fighting for his life.
David has been diagnosed with two types of kidney cancer: clear cell renal carcinoma and papillary renal cell carcinoma. Doctors have found a large 25cm x 20cm tumor that needs to be shrunk before surgery can even happen. His treatment plan is aggressive, including immunotherapy and daily medication. There’s no time to waste.
Despite excruciating pain, David is still working, but his job doesn’t offer benefits, and his doctors expect him to be unable to work during treatment. David has already lost 60 pounds and can only sleep sitting up. He wants to be there for his wife, Trudy, and their children, but he’s struggling.
This is where we come in.
David and Trudy need our help. The financial burden of David’s treatment and the loss of income will quickly become overwhelming. Treatment can cost $7000/month before drug plans and we don’t know how long he will need treatment. We’re raising $30,000 to help cover medical costs and ensure the family is supported during this difficult time.
Please donate what you can. Every contribution makes a difference. Keep David, Trudy, and their children in your thoughts and prayers.
Thank you for your support.
