Help Support David’s Fight Against Cancer

Many of you know and love our dear friend David and his wife, Christine. Twelve years ago, David bravely fought and beat a rare cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. At that time, he and Christine packed up their lives in Atlanta and moved to New York City with their two toddlers so David could receive life-saving treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Against all odds, he came through treatment and enjoyed 11 wonderful, cancer-free years.

This past summer, their world was shaken when David was diagnosed with a recurrence of Ewing Sarcoma - this time in his pelvis. Since July, he has been undergoing chemotherapy in Atlanta. Recently, he was able to meet again with his team at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Because of the rarity of this cancer, there are very few hospitals with the depth of expertise to treat it. Memorial Sloan Kettering has the nation’s leading specialists, and they represent David’s best chance for survival.

Now, David and his family must once again return to New York City for an extended period of time to continue his fight. The financial strain of housing, living expenses, and travel on top of mounting medical bills is overwhelming.
