Hello, my name is Chyrel, and my husband is David. With heavy hearts, we share that his daughter, my step-daughter Vida passed away, May 6, 2025, after a brave and hard-fought battle.

Vida was a strong, independent woman—always working hard, sometimes juggling three jobs, staying active, and giving her all to everything she did. She lived her life with passion and courage, never backing down from a challenge.

Unfortunately, Vida did not have a will, and most of her personal funds went toward her medical expenses. She did everything she could to cover her hospital bills. She did not, however leave a will or the funds for such a time as this.

David and Teresa are retired, and finances are limited. Losing a child is something that no one expects to experience and we all were unprepared (emotionally, mentally and financially). We need your help to give Vida the peaceful and respectful farewell she deserves.

We are humbly asking for your support to help us cover cremation, memorial costs and some of the expenses (travelling and hotel stay) for the family who live out of state to Geneva, Alabama where the memorial will be held. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a difference and is deeply appreciated.
