Help David and Taylor Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

Hi all! My name is Chris Folkersen. I am David's manager at Workday. I am reaching out to our network to try to raise some help for David and Taylor as they work to recover from the impact of Hurricane Helene.

Just prior to welcoming their first child into the world, David and his wife Taylor moved from San Diego to the east coast of Florida to be closer to family. Unfortunately, they moved in just days before Hurricane Helene hit. They were able to get to safety but lost all of their belongings in the storm, including gifts that had been given to them from previous baby showers.

To make matters worse, since the storm hit within the first 30 days of their residency, insurance is not going to cover any of the losses. David and his family are now looking to move (again...) and rebuild their life from the ground up.

We are looking to take care of this amazing family as best as we can to make sure they are set and ready to welcome their child here in the coming weeks. Using these funds, David and Taylor will be able to purchase the necessities for their family and their little one - everything form furniture and appliances to bedding and clothing. Nothing is expected at all, but I know every bit of help would be greatly appreciated!!
