My stepmother, Susan, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer last year. After what was supposed to be an easy in and out procedure to ease her pain left her paralyzed from the hip down, I am asking for any financial help to aid my father through this extremely difficult time. My father is a hard-worker, but the unexpected financial burden from this surgery is too extreme for one to prepare for. Longer hospitalization and setting up accommodations for my stepmother once she comes home will be difficult to afford.
