David and Quita Henderson have spent the past six years selflessly caring for both of their mothers. David’s mother is living with advanced dementia, and Quita’s mother is bed bound, suffering from various complications after having a stroke. Together, they have carried the full weight of this responsibility with love, patience, and incredible strength. David works nights so he can still help care for both mothers during the day. Unfortunately, they had to quit their wellness business in order to provide the around-the-clock care their mothers need. Even with everything on their shoulders, they continue to show up every single day for their family.

Recently, their car was totaled, creating an even greater hardship. Right now, David and Quita are renting a vehicle they cannot truly afford, just so David can get to work and they can take both mothers to medical appointments and hospital visits. On top of that, David also drives for Uber before work to help make ends meet. This fundraiser will help ease some of that burden by going toward a reliable vehicle, medical expenses, and everyday living costs such as bills.

I am starting this fundraiser because David and Quita have given so much of themselves to care for their loved ones, and now they need support in return. Any donation, no matter the size, would mean the world to them and help them continue caring for their mothers with a little more stability and peace of mind.
