Dear Friends,
We are reaching out to ask for your support for a man who has spent his life serving others. Qquantum David Weber is a devoted father of five, a proud Navy Veteran, and a dedicated Union Brother. He was recently diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), a challenge he is meeting with the same strength he has shown throughout his life.
David’s life has been defined by hard work and sacrifice. After graduating from boot camp with the Military Excellence Award, he served four years in the U.S. Navy (1992-1996), including two Western Pacific cruises. David is a proud member of IATSE Local 52. As a Studio Mechanic in the Shop Craft department, he has worked tirelessly to provide for his family.
ALS is a relentless disease that presents overwhelming physical and financial hurdles. As David and his family navigate this diagnosis, the costs are mounting quickly—from specialized medical care and equipment to necessary home accessibility modifications. Our goal is to ensure David can focus on his health and his children without the crushing weight of financial stress. Your donations will go directly toward medical treatments and specialized equipment not covered by insurance, home modifications to ensure his safety, mobility, and independence, and essential support for his five children during this difficult transition.
David has always been the first to offer a hand to a "Brother" or "Sister" on set. Now, it’s our turn to have his back. Whether you can donate or simply share this page with your network, every bit of support helps this Veteran and his family. Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and solidarity.
