This is not something we ever saw ourselves doing, yet here we are. After years of disappointment and heartbreak we are asking for your help in creating a family through embryo adoption.

Our journey started nearly four years ago when we decided it was time to start a family. We have a beautiful home, in a safe neighborhood, with great schools. I, David, had secured the perfect job with a bright future. What better time? In February 2023 we were so excited to find out we were pregnant and heard the baby’s heartbeat for the first time. We picked out names and dreamed about the future. Our hearts were broken when Angela miscarried but we did not give up. Several months later we discovered we were pregnant again, this time with twins. Once again our hearts were broken when Angela miscarried. This set in motion a journey of fertility treatments, medications, surgeries, IUI, none of which have been successful. We explored adoption; private, state, foster/adopt, and were met with closed doors. In the course of our research we came upon a very promising option: Embryo Adoption. It turns out that when couples have healthy embryos left over after completing IVF they have the option of donating those embryos to help others fulfill their dreams of creating a family. Our fertility clinic is one of the facilities that provides this service and they have healthy embryos waiting for us when we are ready. Of course this comes at a cost. There is no “charge” for the embryos but the process itself is fairly expensive, especially on top of all of the expenses we have paid to get to this point.

And so we are reaching out to you, in hopes that you are able to help us on the next step in our journey. The costs associated with our embryo adoption total about $13,000. Every dollar will help. And every prayer.
