David Amerine, originally from Dover, Ohio and now living in Lenoir City, Tennessee, is facing an incredibly difficult journey. As the sole provider for his wife and three young children, David was recently diagnosed with ALL B cell leukemia. Since July 5th, he has been hospitalized, undergoing aggressive weekly chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments. Even after his release, David will continue to require intensive inpatient treatments for at least a year, which means frequent and lengthy trips between Lenoir City and Nashville—each one a 2.5 to 3-hour drive.

The financial strain on David’s family is immense. With David unable to work at Auto Nation Honda in Knoxville, his family is struggling to cover medical bills, travel expenses, and lost wages. The Amerines are active members of Christ Covenant PCA in Knoxville, and their faith and community are a source of strength during this challenging time.
