Hi, my name is Davey, and I’m living with end-stage renal failure (ESRD). My kidneys no longer work on their own, and I now rely on dialysis several times a week just to stay alive. Doctors have placed me on the list for a kidney transplant, but the road ahead is long, exhausting, and filled with overwhelming medical and living expenses.
My Story
I’ve always tried to live a simple, hardworking life, but this illness has changed everything. With ESRD, I battle constant fatigue, hospital visits, and the emotional toll of knowing I can’t do the things I used to. On top of that, I can’t work the way I once could, which has left me struggling financially while facing growing medical bills.
Why I’m Asking for Help
Your support will go directly toward:
Medical bills not covered by insurance
Dialysis transportation and related travel costs
Medication I’ll need before and after a transplant (including expensive anti-rejection drugs)
Recovery expenses if and when I receive a transplant
Even the smallest gift makes a difference. For example, $25 can cover a tank of gas for a dialysis trip, and $100 can help with a week’s worth of prescriptions.
How You Can Help
1. Donate — Any amount truly helps.
2. Share — Please spread this page with friends, family, and on social media.
3. Encourage — Kind words and prayers lift me up more than you know.
From the Heart
I never imagined I’d be in a position where I’d have to ask for help like this. But I also know that kindness and community can make the impossible feel possible. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for sharing, and for supporting me on this journey.
With gratitude,
Davey
