In November 2025, Dave was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma. Since then, our family has faced a whirlwind of challenges as we work to support him through this difficult journey. Dave has had to travel 550 miles each way to the University of Michigan hospital for treatment, which has meant long days on the road and time away from home. Recently, he spent three weeks in the hospital, enduring three major procedures: a lobectomy, INR, and a lymphatic embolization. Each step has come with its own set of complications, and it’s been an emotional and financial strain on all of us.
The mounting medical bills, ongoing treatment costs, and travel expenses have quickly added up, putting a significant burden on our family. We are doing everything we can to support Dave, but the reality is that we need help to keep up with these overwhelming expenses. Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward covering medical bills, travel, and medication costs, helping us focus on Dave’s recovery and well-being.
Thank you to everyone, whether you donate or send your prayers, we truly appreciate it. Your kindness and support mean the world to our family during this challenging time. Together, we can help Dave fight this battle and give him the strength he needs to keep going.
