Hello, my name is Matt. A couple nights ago, a coyote jumped into our backyard and attacked our little wiener dog, Dave. Luckily, our other dog, Miley, jumped in and saved Dave’s life, although she lost her life in the process. We thought Dave had gotten lucky, but the next day, we noticed puncture wounds on his neck. Things have gone downhill from there. X-rays have shown that Dave has fluid in his lungs, which are bruised, he is severely dehydrated, and his stomach has stopped moving. In addition, his liver and kidney function is impaired. We were told it would cost us $6,600 to give him the life saving measures that he is going to need to make it through the weekend. Of course, we did it, but it is really stretching us thin. If you can help us, even a little bit, keep this sweet dog alive, and don’t let Miley’s sacrifice be in vain, we would be eternally grateful to you.
