Help Dave Saunders replace and get some warm gear
Donation protected
Hello all, my name is Jason and I am starting this fundraiser for my good friend Dave Saunders.
On Saturday 11th January, in the 2nd half of the Middlesbrough v Blackburn Rovers match at the Riverside Stadium, Dave suffered 4 seizures/fits one after the other. This was due to a mixture of his epilepsy and the severe cold weather
Whilst the paramedics and stadium staff were trying to help Dave, they had to cut open one of the sleeves of his Middlesbrough jacket and coat which he absolutely loves
Dave is a wonderful person who was one of the first 500 people to ever get a season card for Middlesbrough FC. He also does a lot of charity work, running Dave Saunders Football Academy and organising several parties a year for the young ones of Middlesbrough. In 2023 he was also awarded a BEM (British Empire Medal) for services to the Middlesbrough community and for coaching grassroots football for the last 47 years
So please, let's pull together and try and get some warm clothing and equipment (including a chair for him to sit on whilst we are in the stadium bar area) for Dave so that he can continue to watch his beloved Middlesbrough FC in the colder months. Any excess money will be used to help Dave's family whilst he recovers and to help him keep his Football Academy running for the kids he supports
Thank You
