Help Dave Russell
Hello my name is Lori Baumgartner .
Our friend & colleague David Russell needs our help. He has been in the hospital
for almost 9 months. Almost dying, The doctors had to place him in a medical
coma. After a heartbreaking 9 months he is now finally breathing on his own.
Needless to say he has not been to work in a very long time & his wife
needed to take out a loan to pay the bills. That money has long since gone & now they need to not only repay the loan but still have hospital bills that EXCEED
$70,000.00 dollars with more bills to follow.
His body has atrophied and he can not feel his legs. Dave is still in a specialized
unit in the hospital with only his wife allowed as a visitor.
Dave will also need months of physical therapy to help him breath on his own
again & relearn how to walk.
All this has happened while the world has spun out of control from
COVID-19 .
Because of this virus Dave was not allowed ANY VISITORS FOR A
VERY LONG TIME. His wife was only recently was allowed to see him which did lift his spirits.
I estimate that by the time dave is finally released he will have been in the
hospital for at least one year. Can you imagine that? Dave Almost loosing his life only to be faced with an insurmountable debt when he is finally released.
We all can help our friend in need.

It doesn’t matter how much you can give as long as we come together as a community to help the man that has been helpful to us.
Dave Russell is one of the most dedicated and genuine people that I have ever
met in my life. I first met dave in Guam & then in South Korea, working side by
side to bring the military community vehicles through the Exchange. Dave quickly became like a brother to me as we shared the same work ethics and responsibility to the military community that we worked with.
Dave has encouraged me on so many levels and has done the same for others.
Always the first one to show up & the last one to leave.
Can we come together to support our friend in need?
If a barista in California can get $80,000 for telling a customer that she needs to wear a mask in the store, surely we can exceed this for a friend that almost died of
pneumonia from a simple handshake.
I’m pleading from my heart to help DAVE. I’m humbly appealing to everyone’s
better humanity to open your hearts to my dearest friend.
Dave has a very long way to go. He needs our immediate help!
