We all know Dave, (a fellow Overbrook Regional High School graduate), as a great guy, hard worker, athlete, musician, and dedicated husband who would do anything for his wife Lisa, puppy Charlie, and his entire extended family. Over the weekend, Dave wasn’t feeling well, but thought it was side effects of his second Covid-19 vaccine; however, on Saturday April 24th, Dave (53 years young), was rushed to the hospital with what turned out to be a massive stroke caused by multiple blood clots.

Dave is at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, PA where he was initially being treated in Intensive Care. He is undergoing many tests and is being cared for to reduce the swelling on his brain, and his future prognosis is uncertain at this time.  What is clear is that Dave is facing a long journey to recovery which will require extended medical and supportive care at tremendous expense.
