Help Dave Recover from Tragic Crash

Dave Walter was involved in a terrible head-on collision with a drunk driver on Friday February 7th at approximately 4:00 a.m. The drunk driver was traveling the wrong way on the Scranton Expressway colliding head-on with Dave on his way to work. Dave sustained numerous life-threatening and permanently life-altering injuries. He is currently in the ICU on a ventilator fighting for his life. Since Friday he has already undergone four surgeries to repair his shattered femur, broken spine, lacerated intestines, and internal bleeding. Dave still has a fractured skull, face, and nose, among numerous other injuries to heal from. He will need dialysis going forward as well as inpatient physical therapy. He has been kept heavily sedated since the accident due to the amount of trauma he endured and has a long road ahead of him to recovery. His wife Robyn has been by his side and will need to remain there for the foreseeable future. Dave is a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather of 9.
