My name is Miriam Kaufman and I'm a neighbor and friend of David Donaldson's.

The reason I'm organizing this GoFundMe for Dave is because he has had an extremely difficult year due to health problems caused by complications from surgery.

Dave is a self-employed contractor and because of his health challenges and limitations in being able to work, he has been impacted financially to the degree of allowing me to do a fundraiser on his behalf.

Initially, his pride and ability to always be self-supporting would have kept him from agreeing to my offer to do a GoFundMe for him, but now, due to financial difficulties, he has agreed.

Dave is always generous and has given his time through his work to help others, now it's our time to help him.
