We are asking for help during a devastating time for our family. On Monday, August 11, my husband Dave was involved in a severe motorcycle accident when a car turning left out of Sky Top struck him. He was thrown from the impact, hitting the car windshield and landing about 15 feet away. A Good Samaritan alerted me, and I arrived to find Dave severely injured and bleeding. He was rushed to the hospital and doctors worked from 7 PM until midnight to stop an arterial bleed. He received 97 blood transfusions,a miracle he is still with us today.

Since the accident, Dave has endured extensive injuries: 19 in total, including rib fractures, liver laceration, broken arms, broken pelvis, and multiple leg fractures. He has already undergone seven emergency surgeries. He has also suffered a stroke and now faces ongoing challenges with communication, blood clots in his lungs, and other life-altering complications that affect our nights and days.

Dave is a hardworking, loving man who has always been ready to lend a hand. He is a wonderful husband, father, and son. This unimaginable ordeal has placed an overwhelming financial burden on our family, on top of the emotional toll of recovery and care.
