HELP GULF WAR VETERAN
The bed would also help because of COPD. When you have reapiratory issues it helps to sleep with your head elevated and he also has sleep apnea so it would also help with that. He has a caregiver right now but his biggest fesr is that he will wind up back in a nursing home and stuck there.
If your unfamiliar with gulf war illness basically he is aging quickly and has a cluster of symptoms. It includes respiratory issues, sleep disorders, mental issues, and fibromyalgia along with osteoarthritis. The spine disorders are hardest with 3 plates in his neck and degenerative disk disorders. This causes neuropathy which makes both my legs and feet ache. I also have diabetes.
If you want to know more about gulf war syndrome I have s blog. I would realky like you to click on the link and just read a bit about it. I am not alone. There are thousands of us and we have often been cast aside much the same as vietnam veterans where wjth agent orange and still are iften times.
