Last month my sister and I received the difficult news that our dad Dave Innes has aggressive colorectal cancer.

Instead of settling into retirement, Dave will now be seeking chemotherapy treatment to buy whatever extra time he can get.

In addition to the physical strain that will come with this, there is an immense financial strain that our dad and his partner Colleen face, as neither are currently working while they do everything they can to seek treatment for this disease.

During this time, we are reaching out to friends, family, and our dad's many colleagues in the Vancouver film industry to help support him through this difficult battle.
