Hi all, if you know Dave Ignacio, and how could you not if you are a member of the Tsunami family, you know that he is the first person to ask if anyone needs help and the last person to ask for help. Always there to say hello, ask how your daughter is doing, help put up a tent, and most of all, cheer on his daughter Emily (Tsunami 16U Elite). You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer parent on any softball field you play on.
Recently Dave suffered a medical emergency and collapsed at our final softball tournament of the season up in Massachusetts. He hit his face and head on the paved path, requiring paramedics to transport him to a nearby hospital and have him undergo a variety of tests. In addition to the costs of the ambulance, tests, and treatment, he knocked out a couple of teeth and will need dental surgery.
If any of you have ever had test run at the hospital, or had dental work done, you know that even with insurance those costs are extensive. I don't know Dave's level of insurance, and I do know that he would never ask for help. But I just think that Dave could use some support as he recovers from his injuries. If you are able to help him out in any way it would be appreciated.
Thank you!
