A couple of months ago, I lost my job and things have been really hard for me and my two boys ever since. Today, our power was turned off, and on top of that, we're facing eviction. I recently started a new job as a substitute custodian with the school district, but the pay only comes once a month and I don't get work every day. It's been tough trying to keep up with everything while making sure my boys are okay.

On top of all that, my car was repossessed. I managed to get another car, but it doesn't run very well and broke down on my way to work. Now, I'm riding a bike just to get to my job and take care of my family. It's been one challenge after another, but I'm doing my best to keep going for my boys.

Right now, I need help getting our power turned back on, paying our bills, and replacing all the food we lost when the electricity went out. I don't get EBT money until the seventh and I have zero money left. It's a scary place to be, and I'm doing everything I can to get us back on our feet, but I can't do it alone. Any help would also go toward helping me with transportation so I can keep working and supporting my family.

This is really embarrassing for me to ask, but I would appreciate anything and everything—even a dollar. My boys and I just need help right now.
