Help Dave help Abbey (Blair) get through chemo!

In June 2019 I got married to my other half, and we promised that in sickness and in health that we would love and stand by each other no matter what. Dave is American and we were saving up to pay for his visa to have him move here as soon as we could, we knew this would take time, maybe even several years, but we kept working hard and had to make do with our occasional visits.

In July 2020 I was told I had a tumor inside of my optic nerves, as well as being given a cancer scare, I was told that I could potentially go blind. Despite that I pushed on and tried to get all the answers I needed by myself. I was poked and prodded, then had a biopsy surgery in September. Dave came to the UK to support me and care for me while I was recovering from my operation and starting chemotherapy in January, but he has since had to go back to America as his passports allowed stay time was running out and he couldn't afford it as he legally couldn't work in the UK.

It's now March 2021, and I've been having to push through chemotherapy without him. It is the most difficult thing I've ever had to do, and I need him back to support me. I can't keep doing this without him, especially after finding out my chemotherapy will likely continue for another year. Any raised funds will go towards getting Dave back to the UK, getting what he needs to stay here and start working so we can support ourselves, and to assist us getting through this incredibly difficult time.

Being my parents child, I've always been outstandingly stubborn and have always tried to get through difficult things by myself, the last thing I want to do is burden anyone. I was undoubtedly lucky to find out that I don't have cancer, but as a result I decided I wasn't worthy of receiving the support I actually need, and had been hesitant to ask for help from charities that support those living with cancer. I don't ask for help unless it's truly dire, basically, and my fighting spirit is beginning to run thin as my treatments continue with complications. I need my husband back, he's the light of my life and I can't imagine this is being any easier to him either. Please help us! Thank you.
