Help Dave get to World Scout Jamboree 25 in Korea

I am privileged to have been selected to lead a Unit of the UK Contingent to the 25th World Scout Jamboree in SaeManGeum, Republic of Korea, during the Summer of 2023.

This is an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for selected 14-17 year-olds to join more than 40,000 Scouts from around the World in a 12 day festival of Scouting, which takes place in a different country every 4 years.

The 25th World Scout Jamboree experience will enable young people to realise their dreams, make friendships with people from different cultures, and participate in a safe, inclusive and sustainable programme. The Programme is designed around several core elements: Scouting for Life, Smart & Scientific, Safe & Secure, Sustainability, and ACT: Adventure, Culture, Tradition.

Over the next 18 months, myself and my leadership team (Kerry, James and Jordan) will be volunteering our time to help 36 boys and girls prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. Unit 22's journey will be Youth Lead with our young people encouraged to Draw Their Dream to make the 3-week trip precisely what they want it to be.

To get there, I will be fundraising £3,500 to pay for my trip, but also helping the Unit raise their own funds to make it to Korea. Any support or donations, financially, physically, or emotionally(!) are greatly appreciated!!
