Hi guys, Anies from The peoples Produce here.

Many of our customers know our amazing delivery driver Dave who meticulously drops off hundreds of boxes each week to our South, Hills and Far North customers. You’d know him as the smiling, talkative man who goes out of his way to make sure that he goes above and beyond for each and every person at work, and as a pillar of his community in sync with The Peoples Produce ethos of helping those less fortunate.

What you probably don’t know is that in what little spare time he has, he runs!

This hardworking, dedicated, young at heart man has attended several competitions over the last year, has qualified in his age group and been given an invitation to attend the Xterra World marathon Championships held in Wales at the beginning of July this year!!!

What an achievement!!

We couldn’t be more proud!!

As you can all probably imagine, a trip like this doesn’t come cheap. Dave wasn’t going to go! With the expense of the trip itself and it being peak season in Snowdon with the event on, plus all of the expensive mandatory gear needed, having time off work and the bills still needing to be paid at home, and then the thought of running up the biggest mountain in Snowdon in the cold and the wet, it all seemed overwhelming and unattainable to him.

We don’t believe that it’s unattainable or an opportunity that he should miss! To make it even more special, if we raise enough, Dave will be able to stop in and see his older brother in Europe on the way home! This would be super special as they haven’t seen in other in many years!

We as a business/family will be doing everything in our power to help Dave get there, but we’d like to ask our amazing Peoples Produce community to please get involved too.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime for Dave, one that he so very much deserves (and would love) to attend. Every little bit helps, so please get behind Dave. Hopefully together we can help him achieve this dream!
