If you know Dave, you know the kind of man he is.

He’s the one who shows up. The one who works hard without complaint. The one who makes sure his family is taken care of before he ever thinks about himself. Whether it’s helping a friend fix their car or lending a hand to a complete stranger, Dave has always been there for others. For his entire life, he has been on his feet working tirelessly, helping wherever he’s needed, and doing whatever needed to be done.

Recently, Dave received an unexpected diagnosis that has flipped his world upside down. He was found to have an inoperable tumor and has been diagnosed with lung cancer. It has forced him into something completely unfamiliar: slowing down. His body is no longer allowing him to work, and he will be out for the foreseeable future as he focuses on treatment and healing.

True to who he is, he hasn’t asked for anything. But those of us who love him want to show up for him the way he’s always shown up for everyone else.

This fundraiser is simply a way to support Dave during this challenging season, helping cover medical expenses, meals, support during treatments, household costs, and the unexpected needs that come with navigating this journey. Most importantly, it allows him to focus fully on his health.

We are heartbroken to share that our dad, David, passed away on February 26th. This is an incredibly difficult time for our family. He fought hard, and we are so grateful for the love, prayers, and support that have surrounded us throughout his journey. Your messages, donations, and encouragement have meant more than we can truly express. All funds donated will go directly to the family to help cover funeral arrangements and related expenses as we lay him to rest.
