Dave has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Intrahepatic Cholangiocarcinoma, a rare and aggressive bile duct cancer in the liver. The tumor is over 4 inches and cannot be removed by surgery. In addition, he has two Adenocarcinoma cancerous spots in his left lung, a spot on his spleen, which is also enlarged, and fluid accumulating at the bottom of his left lung and in his abdomen. These health complications have made daily life incredibly challenging, and the road ahead is daunting.

The funds raised will be used to pay medical debt already accrued, and that will be incurred in the coming weeks and months, with the start of an aggressive immunotherapy and chemotherapy regimen. He also needs to cover the cost of some prescriptions, for which insurance only covers a small portion.
