Help Dave fight pancreatic cancer!

My husband, Dave Colwell, is in the fight of his life. We went to the emergency room on May 13th because we thought he had the flu. He was throwing up and very weak. Since he is a heart patient with 3 stents put in, we didn't want to take any chances.
They did a CT scan and an hour later they told us it was pancreatic cancer. When they say life can change in an instant, we certainly were in that instant.
That next week is a kind of a blur, but Dave had a liver biopsy on Tuesday (5/16/17), and on Thursday we received the news no one wants to hear - Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
In the last 6 years, we have faced a lot.
- Dave had a mini stroke and couldn't work and was put on disability.
-We had 2 heavy rains at two separate times which produced sewage water in our basement. The cost to tear out walls and repair wiped our savings out, since our home insurance would not cover it.
- We lost our home and now rent a townhouse in Lakemoor.
- Dave had to have 3 stents put in as he had an 80% blockage by his heart.
- I got breast cancer and Dave had to be my rock.
- and now, the devasting news of Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
Through it all, our faith, family and friends have gotten us through, with their love and encouragement. We could not have made it without them.
Dave does not want to pursue chemotherapy. He loves and values this life God has given him. We have prayed about the path we should try and have chosen an alternative treatment that identifies the cancer cells and kills them by giving them no reason to live (which is the complete opposite of where Dave is, as he has so many reasons to live). This treatment is costly and not covered by insurance. The money is needed before we start treatment. Dave wants to fight and kill this disease that is in his body.
We are both trusting God in this battle and hope you will join this army to defeat this enemy. To God be all the glory!!
