Queer, Suicidal, & Trapped in the Deep South — Please Help Me Escape America

I'm a 52-year-old gay man with a Master’s degree in Counseling. I’ve spent my life helping others—but now I’m completely out of fight.

I’m mentally and emotionally broken from surviving in the Deep South, where being queer still feels like a death sentence. My family is brainwashed by religion. I’m surrounded by Christian nationalism, political hatred, and decades of psychological violence. I’ve been suicidal more days than not. I can’t do it anymore.

I have a valid passport and I am ready to leave the United States. I’m asking for help to get one-way airfare, basic travel expenses, and a lifeline while I seek asylum or humanitarian protection abroad—likely in Mexico, Germany, or Argentina, where queer people like me are protected and welcomed.

I am not asking for pity. I am asking for one last shot at freedom, dignity, and safety before this country kills me slowly or I don’t survive at all.

I will provide receipts, documentation, and updates. Every cent will go toward getting me out of here and into a place where I can breathe again.
