Hello, we are the family of our dearest loved one, Dave Beardsley. He's an incredible husband and the absolute best step-dad and grandpa! We love him so much and are doing our best to stay positive through these times. Please feel free to share your thoughts, prayers, words of encouragement and many memories of our one-and-only DAVE as he fights and we navigate through this difficult next part of his Cancer Journey.

Dave's Multiple Myeloma journey thus far:

Multiple Myeloma Diagnosed November 2019: In 2019, Dave was referred to a Hematology Oncologist due to elevated blood protein. After many tests and a bone marrow biopsy, Dave was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer of the plasma cells in your bone marrow. The cancer was actively attacking his bones. He had 6 months of chemotherapy (during Covid-19) followed by a Stem Cell Transplant May 28, 2020. He responded very well and continued on Chemotherapy Medication since his transplant. Followed up with his Oncologist every 3 months and was doing great.

August 1, 2025: Multiple Myeloma - Relapsed - Unfortunately, Dave started experiencing unexplained back pain in the mid area of his back for a few months. PET Scan showed his cancer was actively attacking his Thoracic spine (T-4 & T-5) and the head of his upper left arm/shoulder. Dave has completed radiation to the aforementioned areas hoping for pain relief and kill the Cancer cells.

He begins weekly infusions & injections tomorrow, September 16, 2025 to stop the active Cancer in his blood/bone marrow. He is scheduled for 8 months, then, followed by a 2nd Transplant.
