On Sunday 1/17/2021, my husband, Dave Atkins, was in a serious motorcycle accident. He suffered severe injuries to both legs and hands; with partial amputation of two fingers, a broken wrist, compound fracture with a broken tibia, and a wounded knee. Dave has been through several surgeries and still has a few more on the horizon. Being that we are in a pandemic, Dave cannot
have any visitors in the hospital with him which has been an emotional roller coaster for our family. 
Dave is a Marine, Husband, Father and most recent a Grandfather. He is staying strong and fighting for his recovery to once again hold his grandson and be with his family.
This could have been a lot worse but we thank god that he is still here with us.
It’s a long road to recovery for Dave… and each day we pray he is one day closer…We miss him very much and wish that we could be by his side.
