David and Tawnyas lives took a tragic turn on 7/23/2020. While leaving a restaurant David fell head first on concrete. He was rushed to Sky Ridge Medical Center and was immediately sent for an emergency life saving surgery. They removed a portion of his fractured skull and diagnosed him with multiple hematoma on his brain and was given a very low chance of surviving surgery. He made it through surgery but, has been comatose ever since. He has a traumatic brain injury and diffuse axonal injury. Even the medical staff is completely shocked at the extent of his injuries from a simple fall. This is usually the kind of injury seen in bad auto accidents. As you can imagine the family is devastated and stretched thin. 

Dave and Tawnya have been married 36 years. He is a father to 3 daughters and grandfather to 3. Dave is also the sole income provider as Tawnya is disabled. To help ease the Immense financial burden of these sky high medical expenses, living expenses to keep bills paid and to help with the long term care and rehab he will need for recovery we have created this fundraiser
