Hello, my name is Dave Burrows.

Several years ago my health declined quickly and it became necessary for me to have a triple by-pass. I ended up with covid, turned long-covid before I was fully recovered from my surgery. Shortly after that I began to pass out and was diagnosed with syncope. After several incidents that landed me in the hospital, and one in which I cracked my head open when I fell, I was given a pacemaker. All these medical bills devoured the savings we had at the time, but thankfully, I was still able to work.

I have now developed neuropathy in my arms, hand, legs, and feet. This has made it difficult to walk, stand and use my hands (including a keyboard). It also makes feeling my feet while they are burning, impossible, leaving me with 2nd, and 3rd degree burns on my feet, which has taken the last 2 months to heal. With all my health issues combined, I found myself fired from my job at the age of 58..... rather difficult to find a new career with my limitations.

My previous employer is being difficult with paying my final commissions, if they ever will. SO, I found it necessary to file for SSDI, but it won't be approved by the State of Michigan for anywhere from 7 months to 2 years. That's a long time to go without an income. My wonderful, awesome blessing of a wife, Kathy, who has been a stay-at-home mom for over 30 years, is willing to go get a job, but she also manages my health, and cares for 2 of our grandchildren on a varying schedule, which makes options very limited.

We find ourselves without an income while we wait for my SSDI. It has been a month since we received my last paycheck. When you're paid a salary plus commission, the salary isn't all that impressive. We are using everything at disposal that we can qualify for. But there are still many living expenses that we are on our knees praying for a way to cover them. We know God will see us thru and are humbly asking for help. If you are able to help in any way it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any donation you can spare.
