On May 15th, 2025, one of the most positive forces in the cosplay community Davaughn "Legend of the Daywalker" Thomas was hit by a stray bullet in his chest while in his hometown of NY. By a miracle he made it through the shooting and his surgery and is on his long road to recovery. He was just trying to take care of his mother one moment and the next his life was changed forever. During his recovery he is unable to work or perform. Those who know his work knows how important cosperforming is to him as he was just setting up to perform at Coney Island which we are all praying he will recover enough to do so by the end of the year.

This campaign is to help Davaughn and his mother get through the next 3 months with their basic needs while he covers.
