It's with a heavy heart that we share this update on our recent GoFundMe campaign. After careful consideration of our financial situation, it has become evident that even a successful campaign will not be enough to help us overcome the challenges Daughter faces. We regret to inform that we've had to make the tough decision to close Daughter as of 1/1/24.

We have decided as a team that the GoFundMe proceeds will go directly to our hard-working staff to bridge any gap in their incomes as they move into their next opportunities. Their dedication has been the heartbeat of Daughter, and we are committed to supporting them as much as possible in this challenging time.

We acknowledge that this was not the original stated purpose for the GoFundMe campaign, and, if anyone who previously gave to our campaign does not wish to see their donation repurposed in this way, please reach out to us at [email redacted] and we will make arrangements to return your donation. Please know that, either way, we remain deeply grateful for your support in this challenging time.

We want to extend the most sincere thank you to everyone who has contributed to Daughter or been part of the Daughter family over the past three years. We have created such rich memories that we will carry with us forever.

Your support has meant the world to us and we will miss being a part of your day to day. We can’t possibly measure how wonderful it has been to be a part of such a vibrant and welcoming community.

Having a space of our own was a great adventure, and we're grateful for the memories created.
