7 days to move: Daughter &Grandkids

My eldest daughter, Erica, is struggling financially after an extremely difficult year, including skull surgery(see pic).

She’s raising two teenagers (didn’t have a lot of newer pics), my grandkids ❤️Gianna and Dominic❤️.

Erica worked successfully for the same logistics company for 7 years and had recently been promoted into management, before unexpectedly losing her job in the spring, 2025.

Shortly afterward, doctors discovered a benign tumor growing in her skull, and it required major surgery, see pic.
In August 2025, surgeons removed part of her skull and replaced it with titanium.

We were still hoping Erica would find good, stable work in Oh. Preferably, before it came to this point, but she hasn’t, and now the landlord is evicting them. They have to come to Tx, where we can share everything.

The owners of the house in my RV park, decided that going forward they don’t want animals in their 3 houses in the park so now we’re trying to find either a similar situation, which I doubt we’ll find, or a large enough RV park, with a lot of park activities for the kids.

I worked with ChatGPT to come up with the below estimates for what we think some things will cost. ChatGPT helped gather the data, dollars and rewrites, lol.

Emergency relocation costs: We can move them different ways & costs will vary, but it’s all expensive. We will move her whatever we can afford, when it comes time to leave in 8 days.
• Fuel costs for the RV traveling between Texas and Ohio (approximately 8 MPG): ~$800-$1,000 depending on fuel prices
• Moving expenses (U-Haul trailer/truck, packing supplies, storage totes, loading help): ~$500-$1,200
• Vehicle repair, maintenance, or possible rental car expenses needed for safe travel: ~$300-$1,500+
• Hotel stays or emergency travel expenses during relocation if needed: ~$150-$500
• Food, utilities, and emergency setup expenses after arrival: ~$300-$700
These are very basic estimates.

We are doing everything possible, I’m watching dogs, Erica’s online making money, I created this fundraiser, now I’m even going to sell my 2nd car. We are trying our hardest, but it’s not enough.

I do NOT want my daughter, or even worse, my TEENAGE GRANDCHILDREN, to have to LIVE EVEN ONE NIGHT, IN A WOMENS SHELTER would anyone?

Any support you can offer will help us get through this challenging time.

I am extremely grateful for you considering a donation or sharing our story.

 God bless
