Our brother, friend, and colleague Dat Nguyen suffered a serious stroke on June 7. Dat has made remarkable progress in rehabilitation but still has a way to go. Soon he will be coming home to live with family.

Dat has medical coverage through his job at the City of Portland but there are many unknown and out of pocket expenses associated with his recovery, including the cost of making the home accessible and safe. His coworkers, in coordination with his family, have set up this GoFundMe to help offset some of these expenses for the family.

All money collected through this campaign will be directly deposited into an account controlled by the family for the recovery and care of Dat during his rehabilitation journey. Any money collected that they decide is in excess of their expenses will be forwarded to the charity of their choice.
